What is the benefit of eTrapp Condensate Treatment System to an HVAC Professional?
Customer Retention
You will retain the customer because eTrapp requires a cartridge replacement about every 180 days (6 months). The cartridge is patented and proprietary; the customer cannot use other chemicals or products. “Across a wide range of businesses, customers generate increasing profits each year they stay with a company. In financial services, for example, a 5% increase in customer retention produces more than a 25% increase in profit. Why? Return customers tend to buy more from a company over time.”
Customer retention is extremely valuable. Research shows that loyal customers are more likely to purchase from brands that they have a history with, and many people seek out companies that their friends and families use. “69% of homeowners hired an HVAC company they had used before or that was recommended by friends/family, far exceeding those who found providers via internet search or ads. Loyalty and word-of-mouth clearly drive contractor choice.”
Customer acquisition costs money, and replacing a lost customer costs even more. To replace 1 lost customer is CAC of Lost Customer ($500) + CAC for Replacement Customer ($500) + Time between them = Over $1000.
HVAC Example – CAC $500 = Google Ads: $3,000 + Lead services (Angi, etc.): $1,200 + Website / SEO: $800 + CSR time handling new calls: $1,000 divided by 12 new customers. That means it costs you $500 just to get a new customer to call and book you the first time.
Customer Acquisition Cost ($CAC) = Total sales + marketing costs ÷ Number of new customers gained
The cartridge replacement/provision service takes minutes to complete and ensures continuous condensate line treatment.
This service can be performed in conjunction with semi-annual HVAC system maintenance; it can be added to your existing service plan.
