Protect Your Customer’s Home or Office From Flooding
Using state-of-the art flow sensing, condensate treatment, and monitoring, eTrapp prevents organic compounds from clogging drain lines, leading to pan overflow and flooding.

The eTrapp, eDelta’s patented condensate treatment system provides the technology to prevent growth of algae, fungi, and other organic compounds that create clogs in air conditioner (A/C) condensate systems. The eTrapp, uses state of-the-art proprietary sensing, condensate treatment, and monitoring to provide continuous performance feedback via a wireless internet connection in the home. The performance data is available through an app running on a personal computer or mobile device/smartphone. Users can enable alerts that will automatically inform them of any flow irregularities or if a cartridge change is required. The eTrapp system will prevent expensive repair bills and finally solves the root cause of the long-standing problem of flooding caused by clogged condensate drain lines.

Small investment.
Big results.
The one-time installation of an eTrapp system to your client’s HVAC unit can prevent costly flooding, providing a unique selling point and peace of mind for your customer. Take a look at the eTrapp’s unique features and benefits.

Condensate Filtration
All condensate output is forced to flow through a proprietary cartridge located in the center of the eTrapp system. The chemical treatment of the condensate prevents algae and fungus build-up in the condensate drain line that has historically resulted in clogged lines and flooding. Under normal operating conditions, the cartridge will filter the condensate for six months before requiring replacement.
Condensate Level Sensing
The level of condensate in the eTrapp is monitored via a proprietary integrated electronic sensor array to ensure it remains at the appropriate level for the A/C system. If the levels are too high or too low, the system will message the condition via the app and suggest the appropriate action.
Condensate Flow Sensing
The eTrapp monitors the environmental condition in the space where the unit is located and the outside environmental conditions to model the expected condensate flow rates. If the flow is outside the projected range, then the eTrapp app will relay the condition and suggest the appropriate action.
Sewage Gas Backflow Prevention
According to U.S. plumbing code, all condensate output drains are to be plumbed into the sewage system. Most installations have a small swoop or bend in the drain line that forms a small water trap/barrier to prevent the air handling system from pulling in sewer system gas. If this trap dries out as it does when the system is used in heating mode, the water barrier is gone and sewer gas will be pulled in and circulated through the heating system. The eTrapp ensures that there is always a water barrier to prevent the backflow of sewer gas. When the A/C system is in heating mode, the eTrapp will monitor the condensate level, profile the evaporation rate, and message the user that the A/C unit should be run to refill the eTrapp and prevent the back flow of sewer gas.
Threaded Input & Output Connections
The eTrapp system is designed with threaded fittings that allow the installation of the unit onto the threaded pipe adapters. If the unit has to be removed for some reason, the pipes can be cut and the unit reinstalled with new threaded adapters, ultimately making it reusable if removed.
A/C Performance Monitoring
By building a profile over time of the environmental conditions and the condensate flow rate, the eTrapp will develop a normal performance model unique to that A/C system. This performance model will inform the user on the health of the overall system and provide visual representation of how the A/C system is functioning.
A/C System Environment Monitoring & Reporting
The eTrapp monitors both inside and outside environmental data. The system monitors inside temperature, humidity and barometric pressure using proprietary electronic sensing built into the product. The outside environmental conditions are downloaded via the wireless connection to the internet to provide a complete picture of the system environment.
A/C System Shutdown Failsafe
The eTrapp IoT controller (included) can be interfaced with the A/C unit to shut the unit down in the case of error condition or out-of-range performance.
Wireless & Bluetooth Connectivity
The eTrapp is enabled with wireless and Bluetooth capability, which enables the user to connect to the device and receive real-time information on system performance.
System Indicator Lights
The eTrapp system has an indicator light to validate the top lid is sealed and secure, which ensures that when a cartridge is replaced, the system is properly sealed and will not leak. When the system is powered up, the indicator light on the IoT controller will flash and turn solid blue when the connection to the internet is confirmed.
Personal Computer & Mobile/Device Smart Phone App Provides the Following:
Visual representation of A/C system performance, Automatic Email Alerts, System Performance Analytics, Cartridge Life Monitoring, Environmental Data, HVAC Contractor Access to Performance Analytics (with contractor subscription).
IoT Controller Included
Compatible with: Alexa, Google Home, Echo Dot.
How eTrapp Works
Algae and fungus build-up in the condensate drain line has historically resulted in clogged lines and flooding. The eTrapp can prevent this occurrence by chemically treating the condensate output.

The eTrapp Filters Condensate
All condensate output is forced to flow through a proprietary cartridge located in the center of the eTrapp system. The chemical treatment of the condensate prevents algae and fungus build-up in the condensate drain line.
Condensate Level Sensing & Sewage Gas Backflow Prevention
The eTrapp monitors condensate levels via a proprietary electronic sensor array to ensure it remains at the appropriate level for the A/C system. The condensate level monitor ensures that there is always a water barrier to prevent the backflow of sewer gas.
A/C System Environment Monitoring & Reporting
The eTrapp uses wireless and Bluetooth capability to report info to the app.
