Using the eTrapp App and eTrapp Pro App

eTrapp Condensate Treatment Unit’s patented technology includes sensory capabilities that create live data. This data is sent to a cloud database and dispensed to the Pro Portal, the eTrapp Pro App and the eTrapp App. Both apps are available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

eTrapp App for Unit Owners

A phone displays the etrapp app dashboard

Unit Owners (homeowners, land lords, building owners, etc.) will download the eTrapp App from their app store for no charge. The Account Registration screen will be the first page that opens. The user will need to input their personal information including name, email, phone number. They will be required to create a password. The address where the eTrapp unit is being installed will be input on the next screen. After logging in, the eTrapp Dashboard will open. However, the screen will say “No eTrapp found!” Click the green button that reads “Let’s add your first eTrapp.” The Installation Tech can take over from this point to connect the new eTrapp to the unit owner app.

A unit owner will be able to see live data from every eTrapp they have installed. The app dashboard shows the amount of condensate inside the unit as a percentage, battery power (in case the unit is not receiving power from the outlet), Wi-Fi signal strength, if eTrapp’s Water Sensor is detecting any water in the secondary overflow pan, and if the A/C is currently on or off. Ambient conditions are also displayed based on the unit’s geographic location. Data including temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity are shown next to the weather report.

A unit owner can choose to input information about their air filter. They can receive notifications about when to change it out. Air filters are the first line of defense to keep dust particles out of the air-conditioning system. It is recommended to exchange spent filters for new filters every 1-3 months or more often if the house contains pets or if family members have allergy sensitivities. The eTrapp App will show when the cartridge is in need of replacement and notify the unit owner and their Pro as early as 45 days.

eTrapp App for Pros

Installation technicians will download the eTrapp Pro app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This specialized app shows the live data captured from all of the eTrapps they have installed at client homes and businesses. Units in alert status display in the Support Tickets section for easy service scheduling.
